Highlights

Without a doubt one of the highlights on Gran Canaria, today we cover one of the most majestic roads a bike may take you on. Known as the 'road of a thousand corners', this tortuous band of tarmac draped half way up soaring cliffs at the base of the Tamadaba national park, will keep your eyes peeled and a grin ever present. Those dramatic cliffs come with a price however, as the final kilometres of this road are permanently closed. A tunnel allows our passage, after which we continue our journey past colourful volcanic landscapes, and the pine scented serpentines of one of the islands most iconic climbs.

Suitable for you if

You are a fit cyclist, ride more than 15 hours weekly and 14000 km yearly
You are able to climb more than 1200 meters per hour
You can handle your bike safely, also in a group
